Great spot on the terrace for a quiet beer (or 3) watching the boats up &amp; down on the water. Amazing how quickly an hour just slips by. Glorious in the warm sunshine. Very good food &amp; friendly helpful staff . Dogs welcome &amp; lovely real ale - perfect! Highly recommended.

Was staying in the area for work and just wanted somewhere to grab a drink in the evening, was welcoming and friendly, standard prices for the area. Come back a couple of times even with a work colleague and grabbed some food the second evening, was delicious, expected basic pub food, but was certainly not that, a little gem,

Excellent family meal for Father&#39;s Day. Having planned on a late breakfast at The Winking Prawn North Sands for Fathers Day, we were extremely disappointed with the poor service and wait so drove into Salcombe and found The Ferry Inn tucked away. Couldn&#39;t have been more helpful for a family of 6 on Father&#39;s Day. Excellent food-good roast of local beef. Kids had ham egg and amazing chips. Def visit again and recommend.

Love this place. Great staff even though they are a little laid back. Takes forever to get served. Staff have a good sense of humour which lightens the wait a little. Gorgeous views, stunning in fact but a tad pricey for the visitor. It&#39;s the norm for Salcombe though so you know what to expect.
